Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 June, 230 cases of coronavirus were reported in Uzbekistan, according to the data of the Ministry of Health.

As of 23:00 on 16 June, the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Uzbekistan reached 5263.

Of 230 cases, 194 were detected in quarantine institutions, 20 among the population (14 in Tashkent, 3 in the Bukhara region, 2 in Samarkand and 1 in Namangan), 14 from truckers.

Also, according to the Ministry of Health, on 16 June, 77 people recovered from the coronavirus and the total number of cured was 4096.

1378 people are under treatment, 13 of them are in serious condition (a day earlier, 14 patients were reported in serious condition, 2 in extremely serious condition).
