Uzbekistan Receives Over 10 Million Tourists for the First Time in 11 Months
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to November 2025, 10.7 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes, marking an increase of 3.5 million people (47.4%) compared to the same period last year, according to the State Committee on Statistics.
The largest number of tourists came from neighboring countries: 3 million from Kyrgyzstan, 2.5 million from Kazakhstan, and 2.5 million from Tajikistan.
Russia ranked fourth with 923.8 thousand visitors.
Other countries in the top ten included Afghanistan (429.4 thousand), Turkmenistan (341.4 thousand), China (250.5 thousand), Türkiye (161.9 thousand), India (73.4 thousand), and South Korea (44.1 thousand).
