Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An operational headquarters established at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Turkey is actively collecting and sending to Uzbekistan the necessary medicines and medicines to fight the new type of coronavirus COVID-19.

The result of this work was organized with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ankara and the Consulate General of our country in Istanbul with a special flight delivery of Uzbekistan Airways to Tashkent on 23 April, humanitarian aid formed by representatives of Turkish business circles.
The valuable cargo arrived from Turkey included 50 thousand protective medical masks, 200 thousand protective overalls and the same number of protective helmets. They were provided by Turkish companies Çalık Holding and Kani-Med Healthcare. It is worth noting that these companies actively support the investment policy in our country and its practical implementation.
These days, when decisive measures are being taken in the republic to combat the coronavirus epidemic, the assistance provided by Turkey to Uzbekistan in the form of medical means indicates that the two countries are ready to enter a new period of development together and support each other in confronting common threats.
