Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On behalf of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, special medical supplies were sent to our country as humanitarian aid to the brotherly people of Uzbekistan, Dunyo reports.

According to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Uzbekistan, the cargo included disposable syringes, shoe covers, bedding, antiseptics, disinfectants, liquid soap, solid soap and medical alcohol.

Humanitarian assistance was met by employees of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan and authorized representatives of Uzbekistan.

In these difficult times, Azerbaijan demonstrated solidarity with Uzbekistan in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, as well as friendly and fraternal ties between our countries.

A few days ago, on behalf of the President of Uzbekistan, humanitarian aid was sent to Azerbaijan with the necessary medicines and equipment to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
