Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Operational Headquarters, established at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing, continues active work to collect the medicines and medical equipment necessary to fight the Covid-19 coronavirus, to form and send this cargo to Uzbekistan.
All this is carried out in close cooperation with Chinese partners and representatives of the business community, Shukhrat Umirov reports.
The result of the efforts was the sending on 10 April by a special board of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan formed by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing and the Consulate General in Shanghai of the fourth consignment of humanitarian supplies, as well as medical equipment purchased by the Ministry of Health of the Republic.
The valuable cargo arriving from the PRC included functional medical beds, ventilators, ambulums (with masks for children and adults), digital X-ray diagnostic complexes, an ultrasound machine with a cardiological sensor for echocardiography and for doppler vessels, ventilators for newborns (with consumables), devices for percutaneous determination of bilirubin, operating lamps, 2-dome, air intake cabinets, operating tables and tables with hydraulic control, analytical devices “ANDiS 350” and others pocket medical supplies.
Humanitarian aid was provided by the Association of Chinese Entrepreneurs operating in Uzbekistan, a special region of the PRC Yangling, as well as companies and organizations such as Beizhong Yiling, Narimtex, Jiu Mu Touzi, China Construction, Jiangsu Newamstar Packaging Machinery, Jiangsu Penfei, Xiamen Pegasus, Holley Technology, Nanjin Sinopec, Luoyang Daxing company, Shanghai Municipality, Liaoning Leader Investment Holding Group Co., Lld. and Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.
On board also arrived a charitable cargo sent by Uzbek entrepreneur Gulbakhor Tajimirzaeva and captain of the National Football Team of Uzbekistan Odil Akhmedov, also consisting of medical supplies.
As previously reported, the Alibaba Group and the Jack Ma Foundation provided humanitarian assistance to the SCO countries, including Uzbekistan. We remind you that the bulk of this cargo arrived in Tashkent on 6 April. Then protective masks and suits, test systems, and remote thermometers were delivered to the republic. Today, 10 devices have been received that provide positive airway pressure.
These days, when decisive measures are being taken to combat the epidemic of coronavirus, the Chinese partners' assistance in the form of medical supplies to Uzbekistan is a demonstration of not only a close and trusting partnership between the two countries, but also of loyal friendship in overcoming common difficulties.
The Uzbek Embassy in Beijing from various regions of China continues to receive medicines, medical devices and accessories needed to combat the coronavirus.
