Uzbekistan ranks 80 in the Passport Index
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan took the 80th in the updated Passport Index of Henley & Partners. Earlier, Uzbekistan was on the 82nd place.
Uzbekistan has lost one country with a visa-free regime, but at the same time it moved from 82nd to 80th place in the Index with an indicator of 58 countries, Henley & Partners said.
The Henley & Partners passport index analyzes visa rules for more than 200 countries and territories in the world and ranks them by the number of visa-free countries.
Henley & Partners has carefully studied the visa regulations of all countries and territories and has compiled a ranking of countries according to the level of freedom of movement, i.e. the number of other countries that citizens of a specified country can visit without a visa.
Japan took the first place. With the passport of Japan, its citizens can travel without a visa to 190 countries of the world. Singapore and South Korea ranked second (189 countries), and Germany and France were third.
