Uzbekistan ranked 102nd in the rating of peace-loving countries

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In the annual ranking of peace-loving countries Global Peace Index 2017, Uzbekistan ranked 102nd out of 163 countries of the world. The research results are published on the website of the Institute of Economics and Peace.

The Global Terrorism Index measures the level of terrorist activity in the countries of the world. The index is published by the Institute for Economics and Peace (Institute for Economics and Peace).

According to the index, Uzbekistan is located at 102 place with an index of 2.166. It should be noted that in the Global Peace Index 2018 Uzbekistan ranked 104th with an index of 2.144.

Iceland ranked first. Also in the top 10 most peaceful states appear New Zealand, Portugal, Austria, Denmark, Canada, Singapore, Slovenia, Japan and Switzerland.

The top five least peaceful countries also included Afghanistan, Syria, South Sudan, Yemen, and Iraq.
