Uzbekistan proposes penalties for possession of child pornography
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis has passed a bill in its first reading aimed at strengthening child protection against violence, the parliament's press service reported.
The proposed legislation introduces amendments to the Criminal Code and the Code of Administrative Responsibility, establishing penalties for the possession of pornographic materials depicting children.
Additionally, the bill seeks to tighten measures to prevent sexual violence against minors.
