Uzbekistan Promotes Export of Fresh and Processed Products to Malaysian Market
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An exhibition of Uzbek agricultural products titled “Fruits and Dried Fruits, Processed Foods and Beverages” was held in Kuala Lumpur at the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia.
The event brought together major Malaysian retail and wholesale chains, distributors, as well as Uzbek entrepreneurs who showcased fresh fruits, dried fruits, canned goods, concentrates, and other processed products.
Representatives of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Agriculture and relevant organizations presented to Malaysian partners the country’s ongoing agricultural reforms, investment opportunities, and export potential.
Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Malaysia K. Gadoev and Chief of Staff to the Minister of Agriculture Sh. Ergashev emphasized the high potential of Uzbek agriculture, the natural quality of its products, and their competitiveness in international markets.
The exhibition is expected to contribute to the expansion of Uzbek agricultural exports to Malaysia, establish long-term cooperation with local distributors, and further strengthen bilateral trade and economic ties.
