Uzbekistan produces localized goods for 981.3bn soums

Uzbekistan produced goods for 981.3 billion soums in the first quarter of 2016 within the programme of localization of production of ready goods, spare materials and materials for 2015-2019.
According to the Uzbek Economy Ministry, the figure rose by 1.5 times compared to the same period of 2015. At the same time, estimated impact of import-replacement exceeded US$345 million.
Uzbekistan launched production of 37 new types of localized products in the first quarter of 2016, including petrochemical equipment and spare parts for conveyor equipment, speed meters for automobiles, etc.
