Uzbekistan produces localized goods for 440bn soums

Within the localization programme, the country started production of 154 new products, gas and electric stoves, air conditioners and other household appliances, electric motors and pumps, wire, welding wire, antifreeze for cars, artificial turf for sports fields, new kinds of toys, sports equipment and others.

Overall, within the first quarter of 2014, Uzbekistan produced localized goods for 439.8 billion soums within 352 projects. The estimated import-replacement effect reached US$197.9 million.
