Uzbekistan produces 369,400 tonnes of petroleum in 1Q 2011

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan decreased production of oil and gas condensate by 7.9% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2011 to 0.9 million tonnes, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

In the reporting period, production of petroleum grew by 5.8% year-on-year to 369,400 tonnes, the committee said in its report.

The committee underlined that Uzbekistan produced 61,200 tonnes of lubricant oil (+0.7%) and 25,700 tonnes of engine oil (+69.1%) in the first quarter of 2011.

Production of liquefied gas rose by 2.7% year-on-year to 66,800 tonnes in the first quarter of 2011. In the reporting period, Uzbekistan produced 16.71 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which 4.1% down year-on-year.
