Uzbekistan produces 2.5 million tonnes of potatoes in 9 months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January - September 2021, the volume of agricultural products grown in the republic amounted to 106.1 trillion. soums, or 5.4% more compared to the corresponding period of 2020.

The share of crop production in the total volume of agricultural products grown was 49.6%.

Products grown by all categories of farms:

Cereals - 6.3 million tonnes

Vegetables - 7.8 million tonnes

Potatoes - 2.5 million tonnes

Melons and gourds - 1.4 million tonnes

Fruits and berries - 2.1 million tonnes

Grapes - 1.3 million tonnes
