Uzbekistan produces 110,690 cars in Jan-Aug

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan produced 110,690 automobiles in January-August 2018, which rose by 21.2% compared to the same period of 2017.

According to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee, production of lorries dropped by 7.9% year-on-year in the reporting period – to 2,450 units.

Uzbekistan manufactured 351 buses in January-August 2018, which fell by 39.8% year-on-year.

Production of automobile engines in Uzbekistan made up 85,350 units in January-August 2018, which rose by 27.7% year-on-year.

In January-August 2018, the volume of production of tractors reached 2,480 units, which rose by six times year-on-year.

According to Uzavtosanoat, GM Uzbekistan sold over 114,630 cars in internal market of Uzbekistan from 1 January to 12 September 2018.
