Uzbekistan produces 102,600 automobiles in 1H 2010

Automobile industry of Uzbekistan produced 102,600 automobiles in the first half of 2010, which is up by 13.6% year-on-year, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said.
Production of trucks grew by 29.3% year-on-year to 415 in the reporting period, the committee said.
Uzbekistan produced 627 units of buses in the reporting period, or fell by 6.3% year-on-year. Production of tractors made up 1,278 units, down by 13.5 year-on-year.
In the reporting period, the country produced spare parts for automobiles for 85.1 billion soums. The growth rate made up 2.8%.
