Uzbekistan Presents “Country of Open Doors” Exhibition in Doha

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of the Second World Summit on Social Development held in Doha, Uzbekistan showcased a conceptual exhibition titled “Uzbekistan — Country of Open Doors.”

The open doors serve as a symbol of trust and transparency, reflecting the country’s hospitality, readiness for cooperation, and commitment to open engagement with the international community. Each door in the exhibition represents a distinct area of social transformation, illustrating how specific reforms and services reach the population.

At the heart of the exhibition is the concept of mahalla, as all reforms in Uzbekistan are implemented at the level of local communities through individualized work with each family, ensuring tangible results. Each “open” direction of the exhibition highlights a particular aspect of these transformations.

The Uzbekistan pavilion was visited by His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. His Highness highly appreciated the organization of the pavilion and the information presented, expressing gratitude for the informative exhibition and emphasizing the importance of further expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar in the field of social development.

Visitors to the exhibition were able to learn about the activities of the National Agency for Social Protection and the Inson centers, as well as the results of reforms in 11 key areas: poverty reduction and family support, development of inclusive education, assistance for orphans and children without parental care, healthcare and environmental protection, sports development, elimination of forced and child labor, expansion of preschool education, combating violence against children, women’s support and gender equality, and improving the quality of life for people with disabilities.

The exhibition vividly demonstrates Uzbekistan’s modern achievements in social development and allows the international community to assess the scale and effectiveness of the country’s national reforms.
