Uzbekistan Plans to Increase Electricity Generation to 124 Billion kWh by 2030

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan aims to increase electricity generation to 124 billion kWh by 2030.

These targets are outlined in the updated “Uzbekistan-2030” Strategy, which has been presented for public discussion on the SOVAZ platform.

According to the document, the country plans to generate 92.8 billion kWh of electricity in 2026, rising to 97.7 billion kWh in 2027.

Electricity generation is expected to reach 105.8 billion kWh in 2028 and 114.4 billion kWh in 2029.

By the end of 2030, Uzbekistan’s power plants are projected to produce approximately 123.7 billion kWh of electricity.
