Uzbekistan plans to host Asian Futsal Championship
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan Futsal Association submitted an application to host the Asian Futsal Championship in Tashkent in 2016, Uzbekistan Football Federation said.
The Asian Futsal Championship will be held for the 16th time and four semifinalists will receive right to play in the FIFA Futsal Championship in Columbia in 2016.
It is worth to mention that Tashkent already hosted Asian Futsal Championship in 2006 and 2010. Uzbekistan reached finals of both competitions.
Uzbekistan finished on the third place in the Asian Futsal Championship in 2014, which was held in Vietnam.
