Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan plans to export 80 tonnes of gold in 2019, according to the data of the Central Bank.
The regulator said in 2018, Uzbekistan exported 70 tonnes of gold. A year earlier, gold exports amounted to 80 tonnes.
The Central Bank predicts that the average world price of gold will be US$1,320 per troy ounce in 2019 versus US$1,268.8 per troy ounce in 2018.
In 2018, Uzbekistan earned about US$2.91 billion on gold exports against US$3.26 billion in 2017.
