Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan intends to impose a ban on the sale of alcohol in shopping and public catering facilities after 21:00 hours.

Draft resolution of the Government of Uzbekistan on additional measures to order the trade of alcohol products. The document was developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The document proposes to prohibit the sale of alcoholic beverages in trading facilities and places of public catering from 21.00 to 09.00.

The draft document said that alcohol can be sold by catering facilities after receiving a license.

The document also proposes to limit the work of shopping and entertainment facilities and places of public catering until 23:00.

However, these measures will not apply to hotels, operating and created special tourist zones, as well as to the above objects with the Tourist friendly certificates.
