Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry, met with Song Wen, Executive President of the Chinese company Henan Qingmaitong Biotechnology.

During the meeting, both parties presented their areas of activity and discussed the company’s plans to establish production of medicinal plant-based pharmaceuticals in Uzbekistan, with subsequent access to markets in the CIS countries and Europe.

Special attention was given to the initiative of organizing training programs for local entrepreneurs in herbal planting — the cultivation and processing of medicinal plants.

Abdulla Azizov expressed readiness to support these initiatives and provide the company with the necessary institutional assistance.
