Uzbekistan participates in Textile and Accessories Netherlands – 2014

Jahon news agency reported that over 50 companies from Europe participated in the event. They presented fabrics for upholstery, draperies and curtains, wallpaper, bedding, cutlery, carpets and other light industry products used in household and commercial purposes.

Uzbekistan was presented in the exhibition by Diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in Benolux and Stratex Europe from Belgium, which presented textile goods of the Uzbek producers.

Within the exhibition, the visitors can familiarize with social-economic development of Uzbekistan in 2013 and priorities for 2014, information on potential and achievements of Uzbekistan in light industry, opportunities, provided to foreign companies.

Several meeting with foreign entrepreneurs and experts of international producers were held within the exhibition. The sides considered issues of establishing of cooperation and participation of the European companies in investment projects in textile industry.

The foreign companies received information on special industrial zones in Uzbekistan, production, transport and infrastructure to create capacities on production of ready goods.
