Uzbekistan participates in high-level conference on combating human trafficking
Jahon news agency reported that the delegation of Uzbekistan included representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior Affairs and General-Prosecutor’s Office.
The participants of the conference explored ways to enhance partnerships and co-operation between international organizations, civil society, governments and other significant actors in the struggle against modern-day slavery.
The event also considered effective ways of social re-integration of human trafficking victims to society and providing psychological aid to them.
The delegations from 57 member states of the OSCE and Council of Europe, as well as international organizations, civil society and independent institutes participated in the conference.
