Uzbekistan participates at session of OIC FMs Council

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan participated at the 41th session of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation, which was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on 18-19 June 2014.

At the session, the heads of foreign ministers of the OIC member states discussed issues of further developing cooperation in various areas, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

The session was attended by the delegations of the member states, management of Islamic Development Bank, several international and national financial institutions.

Currently, 57 states are members of the OIC and total number of their population makes up 1.5 billion people.
