Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The authorities of Uzbekistan are organizing the return of 100 of their citizens from Saint Petersburg who have found themselves in difficult life circumstances, according to the Dunyo news agency.

This initiative is being carried out under the charitable program “Return to the Homeland,” which is implemented from 30 July to 30 August with the support of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan and the Office of the Agency for External Labor Migration.

Certificates for repatriation and plane tickets were issued to the citizens, with the flight scheduled for 18 August.

In addition, according to Dunyo, material assistance has been provided to 33 citizens of the country, including those staying at the Temporary Detention Center for Foreign Citizens and those in particularly difficult life situations.
