Uzbekistan moves two place up in new FIFA ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams.

Uzbekistan national team jumped two place up and now holds the 78th place in new FIFA ranking.

Uzbekistan is the ninth best team in the FIFA ranking among Asian countries. Iran (32nd place), Australia (38), Japan (57), China (57), South Korea (60), Saudi Arabia (63), China (71), UAE (72) and Syria (77) are ahead of Uzbekistan among AFC members.

Germany topped the FIFA ranking. Brazil and Portugal share the second and third places respectively.
