Uzbekistan military intelligence officers win Exercise Cambrian Patrol in the UK

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Military personnel of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan won Exercise Cambrian Patrol, which was held in the British city, Great Britain.

On 15-17 October, a group of servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan took part in international competitions among the intelligence units of Exercise Cambrian Patrol.

About 123 teams from 34 countries took part in the competition. The Cambrian Patrol has been held in Wales annually for 40 years. It is considered one of the most difficult and prestigious competitions among military personnel, which can be compared with the selection in special forces units. Special requirements are placed on the physical and moral-psychological training of servicemen.

In 2017, these prestigious competitions were attended by 139 teams from 29 states, where the soldiers of Uzbekistan, participating for the first time, won the second place of the podium.

But a year later, the results increased, and a group of military intelligence officers of Uzbekistan showed the best result, thereby firmly declaring their superiority in contests with the British group.

Servicemen of Great Britain, India and France took the second place. Third place was given to servicemen of the British army and Kazakhstan.

The winners of prestigious competitions were solemnly met at the Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport.
