Uzbekistan Men’s Team Wins Turkish Open Taekwondo Tournament

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The international G2-category taekwondo tournament, Turkish Open, concluded in Antalya, Turkey, with Uzbekistan’s men’s team demonstrating exceptional performance.

The national team secured three gold and two bronze medals, earning first place in the overall men’s team standings.

Gold medalists included Dilmurod Maarufjonov in the under-54 kg category, Omonjon Otajanov in under-58 kg, and Jasur Jaysunov in under-80 kg. Bronze medals were claimed by Jahongir Khudoyberdiev in under-54 kg and Diyorbek Tukhliboev in under-68 kg.

The success of Uzbek athletes at this prestigious international event underscores the high level of taekwondo development in the country and the effectiveness of the national team’s training programs.
