Uzbekistan Leads World Boxing Rankings Again

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has topped the final World Boxing rankings, maintaining its absolute leadership in men’s boxing. Six Uzbek athletes claimed first place in their weight categories — the highest number among all countries.

Representatives from Kazakhstan hold the top positions in the remaining four men’s categories — M50 kg, M55 kg, M70 kg, and M90 kg+ — as well as in two women’s divisions — W70 kg and W65 kg.

Uzbekistan #1 in Six Men’s Divisions

By the end of the year, Uzbek athletes lead the following weight categories:

60 kg — Abdumalik Khalokov (1st place)

65 kg — Asadhuja Muydinkhujaev (1st place)

75 kg — Fazliddin Erkinboev (1st place)

80 kg — Javokhir Umbataliev (1st place)

85 kg — Akmaljon Isroilov (1st place)

90 kg — Turabek Khabibullaev (1st place)

This result confirms Uzbekistan’s status as one of the world’s strongest nations in Olympic boxing.

Abdumalik Khalokov and Asadhuja Muydinkhujaev stand out particularly, having earned the maximum 3,000 ranking points thanks to victories at the World Championships in Liverpool and the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
