Uzbekistan launches “UGaz” system to monitor gas filling stations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has introduced the “UGaz” system aimed at improving citizen safety and ensuring transparent transactions at gas filling stations, the Ministry of Energy reported.

The system, developed and implemented by Yagona integrator UZINFOCOM, records all operations at automotive gas filling compressor stations (AGFCS) in real time. It reduces manual record-keeping, prevents unlawful actions, makes all processes transparent, and enhances consumer safety.

When a vehicle enters a station, the system automatically checks the validity of its technical inspection and notifies the operator if it has expired. If the fuel type does not meet requirements or the gas cylinder is unregistered, the operator also receives an alert, ensuring the safety of the station, the driver, and passengers.

“UGaz” guarantees transparency in the sale of natural gas by recording the exact fueling volumes, thereby eliminating the risk of unlawful resource use.

Each dispenser and the work of station staff are continuously monitored online. All data are integrated with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Tax Committee, JSC Toshshahartransxizmat, the e-government system, the Energonazorat platform, and the OneID service.

A call center is available for consultations and inquiries at +998 (71) 202-22-02 (extensions 815, 814).
