Uzbekistan launches the first textile electronic trading platform – Uzbtextile.com

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 December, Tashkent hosted a discussion on “Prospects for development of textile industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan” and the presentation of Uzbekistan’s first textile electronic trading platform – Uzbtextile.com

The event was organized by “Uztuqimachiliksanoat” (Uzbekistan Textile Industry) Association, clothing brand from Uzbekistan Fratelli Casa and the consulting company RANSIF Group with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Youth Union of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by representatives of diplomatic corps and international organizations, relevant companies, experts of the textile industry, mass media representatives.

During the discussion, the current state and development prospects of the textile industry of Uzbekistan, increasing export potential, the system of legal regulation of relations in the field of e-commerce, digital technologies in the textile and clothing industry, trends in the fashion industry were discussed.

Developers of Uzbtextile.com trading platform made a presentation of the new service to the leading representatives of the textile sector of Uzbekistan.

The main goal of the project is to establish a link between buyers from around the world and textile manufacturers from Uzbekistan.

New platform is designed for B2B segment. At the initial stage, the service will be completely free.
