Uzbekistan launches new cement plant
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan has launched a new cement plant, the state-run UzA news agency reported.
According to the report, new plant Turon Eco Cement started its operations in Ferghana region, eastern Uzbekistan.
The capacity of the plant is 350 tonnes of cement a day. The enterprise was constructed with participation of Chinese specialists. The project cost is US$1.938 million.
