Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15-21 October 2018, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan held a meeting of the working groups of the governmental delegations on issues of delimitation and demarcation of Uzbek-Kyrgyz State border.
At the meeting, which was held in Namangan city, the parties described Shakhimardan area within Fergana region adjacent to Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, as well as a part of Kandiyon-Bulok in Namangan region adjacent to Jalal-Abad region in Kyrgyzstan, taking into account the interests of the two countries.
Following the negotiations, a Protocol was signed.
