Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan discuss inter-parliamentary cooperation
The delegations of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan discussed the state and prospects for further development of interparliamentary interaction, as well as cooperation between regions in the trade, economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Following the results of the first meeting of the Interparliamentary Cooperation Commission between the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Rules of the Inter-parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic were signed.
A memorandum on mutual cooperation between the Institute for Study of Legislation and Parliamentary Studies under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Scientific and Research Center of the Office of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic was also signed.
An exchange of views took place on the use of the possibilities of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission to promote issues of further development and expansion of trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
