Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan discuss bilateral ties

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan organized a visit of Kazakhstan’s business delegation led by the Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce of Kazakhstan Ayan Yerenov to Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan business forum and B2B meetings were organized within the framework of the delegation’s visit. They were attended by representatives of ministries and agencies of Uzbekistan, as well as companies engaged in production of construction products, electrical engineering, energy, agriculture, food, pharmaceutical and other industries, the CCI’s press service said.

At the meetings between business circles of the two countries, prospects for further development of Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan trade-economic cooperation were discussed. Views were exchanged on intensification of partnership between enterprises of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Following the event, mutually beneficial bilateral contracts were signed.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to intensification of interregional contacts aimed at effective use of the existing large potential of economic, cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.

Mutual interest was confirmed in implementation of promising joint projects in construction, pharmaceutical, agricultural and other sectors of the economy.
