Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan Border Reopens at Syrdarya Post

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Customs Committee of Uzbekistan has announced the resumption of traffic through the Syrdarya border post on the Uzbekistan–Kazakhstan border.

The reopening followed the completion of construction work at Kazakhstan’s Atameken customs checkpoint. Passenger vehicles and citizens can now cross through Uzbekistan’s Syrdarya post in the Syrdarya region under normal conditions.

Authorities noted that border crossing is now more convenient and efficient, while emphasizing the importance of strictly adhering to established regulations at the checkpoint.
