Uzbekistan, Israel discuss prospects for cooperation in textile industry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23 September 2019, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel hosted negotitions at the Israel Textile and Fashion Association.

The Israel Textile and Fashion Association is a non-profit organization that was established in 1953 to promote Israel’s textile and fashion industrial capabilities. The Association currently represents and serves part of the Textile & Fashion community in Israel.

During the talks, issues of expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and Israel in textile industry were discussed.

An agreement was reached on organizing a visit of the delegation of the Association to Uzbekistan to attend the Made in Uzbekistan International Exhibition of National Products (on 23-25 October), as well as conducting negotiations with Uzbekistan Textile Industry Association with signing a Memorandum of Cooperation, visits to national manufacturing companies in order to become familiar with their production facilities, products, discuss export and import issues.
