Uzbekistan Introduces Unified Electronic System for Land Monitoring

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has strengthened control over land use to prevent corruption.

President of Uzbekistan signed Resolution No. PP–287 on 18 September 2025, “On Additional Measures to Further Improve Mechanisms for Eliminating Corruption Factors in Land Relations.”

According to the document, the “E-YER NAZORAT” system of the Cadastre Agency will become the unified electronic platform for state land monitoring. From 1 January 2026, the functions of special authorized bodies for early detection of land law violations will be carried out exclusively through this system.

Territories will be classified into three risk categories:

Red — high likelihood of inefficient use or illegal land seizure;

Yellow — medium risk level;

Green — low likelihood of violations.

Modern technologies will be used for monitoring: drones will inspect “red” category plots at least once a quarter, while special aircraft will monitor “yellow” category plots every six months.

The resolution aims to increase transparency in land relations, ensure effective management of plots, and prevent corruption.
