Uzbekistan Introduces Partial Reimbursement of Fees for Family-Based Kindergartens
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Justice has registered a regulation establishing the procedure for partial reimbursement from the state budget of parental fees for children from families listed in the “Register of Low-Income Families” who attend family-based non-state preschool educational institutions, the ministry’s press service reported.
According to the document, families included in the “Register of Low-Income Families” will be eligible for compensation. The lists of children entitled to this support measure will be generated automatically through a specialized information system.
The reimbursement rate for family-based non-state kindergartens is set at 40 percent of the parental fee established for state preschools of general type with a nine-hour workday in the corresponding region. Funds will be allocated based on the actual number of eligible children, but not exceeding 15 percent of the total number of places in a family-based kindergarten.
