Uzbekistan Introduces Automatic E-Points System for Drivers

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan will introduce an automatic penalty points system for drivers starting April 1, with violations recorded by cameras and monitoring systems being automatically added to a unified electronic database.

Under the new system, each violation may result in up to two penalty points. These points are cumulative, and once a driver reaches 12 E-points, their driving license will be automatically suspended for a minimum of six months. A warning SMS notification will be sent when a driver accumulates eight points.

Penalty points will be reset one year after the first recorded violation, provided the установленный threshold is not exceeded during that period.

Drivers will be able to check their accumulated points through the my.gov.uz portal, the MyGov mobile application, as well as via services such as Road24, Safe Road, Click, and Payme.

The system is aimed at improving road safety and encouraging drivers to comply with traffic regulations.
