Uzbekistan intends to increase FDI attraction to US$4.1 billion

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan intends to increase the attraction of foreign direct investment to US$4.1 billion by 2022, according to the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Finance, Uzbekistan will attract foreign direct investment for US$1.67 billion in 2018.

The government of Uzbekistan expects this figure to reach US$2.2 billion in 2019 and US$2.68 billion in 2020.

In 2021, as forecasted by the specialists of the Ministry of Finance, the volume of foreign direct investment will rise sharply to US$4.1 billion.
