Uzbekistan increases production of lorries by 15.2%

The committee said that the country produced 217,700 units of vehicles in the reporting period, which is up by 6.2% year-on-year.

At the same time, Uzbekistan also decreased production of buses by 3.7% year-on-year to 1,268 units in 2010.

Uzbekistan manufactured 2,539 units of tractors (-7.2%) and 2,478 units of tractor trailers (+48.9%) in the reporting period.

Machinery enterprises of Uzbekistan produced spare parts for automobiles for about 190.9 billion soums in 2010. The growth rate made up 9.7% year-on-year.
