Uzbekistan increases production of cars by 51% in January-February

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan produced more than 38,640 passenger cars in January-February 2019, which is 51.3% higher compared to the same period of 2018.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the production of trucks increased 2.6 times in the reporting period - up to 782 units.

Uzbekistan produced 194 buses in January-February 2019, which is 2.1 times more compared to the same period in 2018.

The output of automobile engines in Uzbekistan in January-February 2019 amounted to 32,640 units. The growth rate compared with January 2018 reached 64.1%.

In January-February 2019, the output of tractors was 67 pieces, which is 67.8% less compared to the same period of 2018.
