Uzbekistan increases production of cars by 49.6% in January-April

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan produced more than 79,610 passenger cars in January-April 2019, which is 49.6% higher compared to the same period of 2018.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the production of trucks increased by 2 times in the reporting period - up to 1,719 units.

Uzbekistan produced 593 buses in January-April 2019, which is 4.1 times more compared to the same period of 2018.

The output of automobile engines in Uzbekistan in January-April 2019 amounted to 63,760. The growth compared with January 2018 was 56.4%.

In January-April 2019, the output of tractors was 164 units, which is 79.7% less than in the same period of 2018.
