Uzbekistan increases production of cars by 46.6% in January-June

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan produced more than 120,000 cars in January-June 2019, which is 46.6% higher compared to the same period of 2018.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the production of trucks increased by 58.2% in the reporting period - up to 2,456 units.

Uzbekistan produced 912 buses in January-June 2019, which is 3.4 times more compared to the same period of 2018.

The output of automobile engines in Uzbekistan made up 93,650 in January-June 2019. The growth compared with January 2018 made up 56.5%.

In January-June 2019, the output of tractors amounted to 602 units, which is 65.4% less than in the same period of 2018.
