Uzbekistan increases petroleum production by 1.1% in 1H 2011

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan increased production of petroleum by 1.1% year-on-year in the first half of 2011 to 698,400 tonnes, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

The company said that Uzbekistan decreased mining of oil and gas condensate by 7% year-on-year to 1.9 million tonnes in January-June 2011.

In the reporting period, Uzbekistan produced 131,600 tonnes of lubricant oils (+3.4%), the committee said.

Production of liquefied gas fell by 2.3% year-on-year to 130,500 tonnes. Uzbekistan produced 32.306 billion cubic meters of natural gas in January-June 2011, which is 4.1% less year-on-year.
