Uzbekistan Increases Orange Imports to 23,800 Tons in 11 Months
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to November 2025, Uzbekistan imported 23,800 tons of oranges, totaling approximately US$12 million, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Citrus imports grew by 7.8% compared to the same period last year, reflecting rising domestic demand for fruit products.
Iran was the leading supplier during the reporting period, delivering 12,200 tons of oranges—over half of the total import volume.
The United Arab Emirates ranked second with 3,600 tons, followed by Egypt (2,900 tons), China (2,300 tons), and South Africa (2,000 tons). Other countries accounted for 813.6 tons.
