Uzbekistan Increases Fruit and Berry Production to 2.6 Million Tons
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Committee of Statistics, farms of all categories in Uzbekistan produced around 2.6 million tons of fruits and berries in January–September 2025, marking a 4.3% increase compared to the same period of last year.
The Andijan region led production with 496.3 thousand tons, followed by the Fergana region with 380.5 thousand tons and the Samarkand region with 345 thousand tons.
Significant volumes were also recorded in the Bukhara (266.7 thousand tons) and Namangan (244.1 thousand tons) regions.
Among other areas, production ranged from 173.3 thousand tons in Kashkadarya to 949 tons in Tashkent city.
