Uzbekistan increases electricity production by 1.5%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan increased electricity generation by 1.5% in January-August 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.

In the reporting period, according to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the country's enterprises generated more than 40.44 billion kW/h of electricity.

Also, in January-August, 17.85 million Gcal of heat energy was produced in Uzbekistan, which is 3.3% less compared to the same period in 2018.
