Uzbekistan increases electricity production by 1.2%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan increased electricity generation by 1.2% in January-June 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.

In the reporting period, according to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the country’s enterprises produced about 30.49 billion kW/h of electricity.

Also in January-June, Uzbekistan produced 15.2 million Gcal of heat, which is 0.2% less compared to the same period of 2018.
